Shana Crosson

Geospatial Technology Consultant, University of Minnesota

Shana Crosson is a geospatial technology consultant at the University of Minnesota, focusing on integrating geospatial technologies and spatial thinking across the curriculum in higher education and in K-12. Before working with GIS, Shana spent many years doing historical research and content development at the Minnesota Historical Society. Now she combines this experience in historical research and storytelling with geospatial technologies to create content and activities with the data and resources from Mapping Prejudice that can be used by teachers and students to study the inequities that exist and to make change.
