Community Fellows

Mapping Prejudice is making a case for reparations. Since its inception, the project team has worked with community members to create maps and datasets that help many White people see structural racism for the first time. The project also seeks to ensure that the data and resources produced by Mapping Prejudice serve the Black community, Tribal nations and communities of color as they demand racial justice. The fellowship has been designed to help the project team be more actively engaged with this aspect of its mission by centering on the community fellow: local change-makers who are doing work for racial equity and housing justice that could benefit from the resources of Mapping Prejudice and the larger University of Minnesota.
