Community Organizer, East Side Freedom Library
Hello!
My name is Sid Stuart, I am one of the co-directors of the Housing Justice Program at the East Side Freedom Library. I’m from South Minneapolis originally and have lived on the East Side of Saint Paul for around four years now. The work we do in housing is not directly service oriented but focused on facilitating conversations and spaces to find commonality and build solidarity around systems change. Trying to imagine and advocate for a world that prioritizes people over profits. Aside from work, I love hanging out with friends, watching movies, gardening, taking my dog to the dog park, roller skating, trying new foods, and being crafty! I’m looking forward to the many possibilities for collaboration and research from this mapping prejudice fellowship opportunity.
